Me and my husband had the opportunity to Visit Concord, CA a couple weeks ago when we were visiting California for my Birthday. I was Honestly blown away by how much shopping and amazing food places this city has to offer. We stayed at the Hilton and it is in a perfect location. It is right by great shopping and delicious restaurants.
Day 1: Delicious Peruvian food & the best hotel pillows
Our first night in Concord we ate at a place called Lima. It was a Peruvian restaurant and the food was AMAZING! Plan on spending a little extra $$! The dishes are well thought out and they deliver an amazing meal. This quaint little spot was pretty popular and we can totally see why the food was delicious and the atmosphere has you feeling like you’re vacationing in Peru. Pro Tip: Try the dessert, we got cheesecake and a tres leches cake …. Seriously so yum!
The Hilton at Concord offered a lot of different amenities ranging from a pool, workout space, executive lounge area and meeting rooms. We loved our room with an adjacent sitting area. It was seriously perfect for us. We have been pretty busy the last couple of months and we were looking for the time to recharge and spend time together and the Hilton @ Concord, CA totally delivered. The room was clean, had a great sitting space and I have NEVER had a pillow as comfy as the ones that were on our beds. Thank you Hilton!
Day 2: Pool Time, Shopping & Food
We started our second day off with breakfast at the hotel followed by pool time. We had most of the pool area to ourselves and the hot tub was a perfect way to start our day.
We ate lunch at Eureka Burger and again the food was to die for. We spend the rest of the time before dinner shopping at the Veranda and Willows Shopping Center. There are lots of great stores and everything is so close to each other.
We had dinner at a sushi restaurant called Mikuni Sushi and OH MY GOSH! … We got the dinner option for two people that allowed you to pick a couple different rolls an appetizer and a yummy desert to finish it all off. This restaurant is a popular dining spot and gets very busy I would recommend calling for a reservation or there is plenty of shopping around while you wait to be seated. The energy outside was wonderful there was a fountain and a play area for families. The weather was beautiful and there was so much to see and do.
After Dinner we had dessert at Pop Bar Gelato on a stick and I WISH THERE WAS ONE IN UTAH. Such a yummy spot to finish our day! I am obsessed with hazelnut and the pop bars were so good. They hit the spot!
We loved taking the time to explore Concord, CA and is a great place for families and not too Far from the San Francisco Bay area. Thank you so much @VisitConcordCa for hosting the Kemp family for the weekend, we had a great time and we will definitely be back!
